About Us

Society of Government of Meeting Professionals Crossroads of America (COA) is a non-profit professional organization of people involved in planning government meetings and those individuals who supply services to government planners.  The Crossroads of America-- Indiana Chapter is one of 31 chapters and the members span across the state of Indiana.

The Crossroads of America -- Indiana Chapter was chartered on September 26, 1996 and the ceremony took place at the Sheraton North, Indianapolis.  The first elected board included:  President: Ralph Menzel, 1st VicePresident: Alice Inman, 2nd Vice President: Dawna Money, Secretary: Mary Kate Myers, Treasurer: Matt Hannon, Director-Membership: Ray Martin, Director-Programs/Education: Brien Zamperetti and Director-Honors/Bylaws: Caron Duncan. 

Mission Statement

Crossroads of America Chapter and Leadership serves the membership through education, networking and professional development. 


Vision Statement 
To create an environment conducive to providing quality programming, valued partnerships, and encouraging professional development.

Value Statement

To support each chapter member to share and maintain honest and open relationship with the Chapter Board, and to treat all SGMP members with equal respect, courtesy, fairness and dignity.
